      We raise the issue of the military evolution of Santa Anna, from his training stage as a cadet and young officer under the orders of Arredondo, to his performance as Chief General and President of the Republic in the Texas War; for this we expose the situation of the Internal Provinces of the East in the last decade of Spanish government and during the first of independent Mexico, with the problems caused by the Anglo-Saxon settlers settled in Texas, which caused the conflict.
