LAS ASOCIACIONES DE MIGRANTES EN LAS ACTUACIONES DE CODESARROLLO. UN ESTUDIO DESDE LA CIUDAD DE MADRID. (Spanish)

MIGRANT ASSOCIATIONS IN CODEVELOPMENT INTERVENTIONS. A STUDY FROM MADRID CITY. (English)

There is a broad consensus among those who work on codevelopment on the importance that migrants have as central agents of focus, this is the consideration from which is set out the analysis in this article. We'll shed light on an ongoing debate from the investigation on the practice of migrant associations in Madrid —its activities, its forms of meaning and inclusion— to know which concepts of codevelopment they handle, what the specific traits are that individualize the focus from its perspectives and needs, as well as what type of strategies for participation they activate to make it work. All of this, supported by the data gathered by observing codevelopment events and by analysing in depth interviews with members of migrant associations, DNGO and spanish public administrations, without which it is not possible to understand the context in which the latter are working. Existe un amplio acuerdo entre quienes trabajan el codesarrollo sobre la importancia que los migrantes tienen como actores centrales del enfoque, y a partir de esta constatación se plantea el análisis que se realiza en este artículo. Alumbramos un debate en proceso desde la investigación de la práctica de las asociaciones de migrantes en Madrid -sus actuaciones, formas de significación y de inclusión- para conocer qué concepciones del codesarrollo manejan, cuáles son los rasgos específicos que individualizan el enfoque desde sus perspectivas y necesidades, así como qué tipo de estrategias de participación activan para ponerlo en marcha. Todo ello, sustentado por los datos obtenidos en la observación de campo de eventos de codesarrollo y en el análisis de entrevistas en profundidad a miembros de asociaciones migrantes, ONGD y administraciones públicas españolas, sin las cuales no es posible entender el contexto en el que trabajan las primeras.
