      The article discusses an effort to cut costs in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by the employees of the Animal Control Monte and Sam and to clear overgrown vegetation on almost eighty acres of land along the Hefner Canal. Topics include the use of heavy equipment and machinery to cut down grass and vegetative growth; a ban on using toxic chemicals to get rid of weeds and other nuisance plants; and Hefner Canal goats help maintaining more than eighty acres of area.
