    • Abstract:
The article informs that Connie Mack, and John Breaux, chairman and vice chairman of the U.S. President's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform, announced today that the panel will hold its first meeting on February16 in Washington. The gathering is the first in a series of public meetings that the panel will hold before it submits its final report by July 31. U.S. President George W. Bush established the panel earlier this month, asking it to recommend policies that will make the tax code simpler, fairer and more growth-oriented.
