    • Abstract:
      This article focuses on matters related to Elizabethan actors. Jerome Savage was a leading actor with Warwick's men in 1575/6, when he and Lawrence Dutton were paid for plays at court and in 1578/9, when Savage was paid for a play. As Hierome Savage he married Anne Laucenbergae in 1577 at Hallows, Lombard Street. In 1582 he was living in St Peter's in Cheap, where he was assessed on three pounds in goods. Abraham Savery of Westminster, gentleman, acted in 1604 and 1605 on tour with the Duke of Lennox's Men and referred to a warrant the duke had made to him.
