    • Abstract:
Mugambi notes that many NPCC leaders have compromised their Christian witness through opaque financial dealings and authoritarian practices. Lastly, Mugambi presents the movements of the Newer Pentecostal Charismatic Churches (NPCCs) and the Progressive Pentecostal Churches (PPCs) as a subset of the NPCCs. Mugambi names the African values of orality, kinship, and holistic worldview as the lens through which we can see how a contextualized gospel has found its place in the Kenyan landscape.
