Ermenekli Hasan Rüştü Okumuşgil's Poems and Writings About the Prophet Mevlana. (English)

Hasan Rüştü Okumuşgil, was born in Ermenek in H 1285 / M 1869. Having received madrasa education in Ermenek and Konya at an early age, the poet continued his education in Istanbul, was exiled to Izmir, and then returned to Konya and taught at various schools. In 1928, he was appointed deputy director of the Konya Museum and retired from there. the poet, who died in 1936, has poetry, memoirs, articles, stories and articles about social life in magazines and newspapers published by many press organs in Istanbul, Izmir and Konya. Although it is known that studies have been conducted in various fields such as dissertations, articles and newspaper articles related to the poet's life and works to date, it has been seen that no examination has been made about his heart connection to Mevlana. In this study, it is aimed to bring together the writings and poems in which the poet expresses his devotion to Mevlana and his admiration for him, to contribute to what has been done about his life and works, and to bring them into the literary world. In the study, Hasan Rüştü's translations of Masnavi couplets published in Arabic letters in different magazines and newspapers before the letter revolution, the taxmis of a ghazal of Mevlana, the taxmis of poems attributed to him, a poem with the redif "Külah-ı Mevlevi" and a three-issue article written about the Konya Museum were included. Of these writings and poems, it is especially important to bring the translation of the first eighteen couplets, written by a Masnavi teller, be brought to the scientific world. Hasan Rüştü Okumuşgil H 1285 / M 1869 yılında Ermenek'te doğmuştur. Ermenek ve Konya'da küçük yaşlarda medrese eğitimi alan şair, İstanbul'da eğitimine devam etmiş, İzmir'e sürgün gönderilmiş ve ardından Konya'ya dönerek çeşitli okullarda öğretmenlik yapmıştır. 1928'te Konya Müzesi müdür yardımcılığına atanmış ve buradan emekli olmuştur. 1936 yılında vefat eden şairin İstanbul, İzmir ve Konya'daki birçok basın organından çıkmış dergi ve gazetelerde şiir, hatıra, makale, hikâye ve sosyal hayatla ilgili yazıları bulunmaktadır. Bugüne kadar şairin hayatı ve eserleri ile ilgili tez, makale ve gazete yazısı gibi farklı alanlarda çalışmalar yapıldığı bilinmekle beraber onun Hz. Mevlâna'ya olan gönül bağıyla ilgili herhangi bir inceleme yapılmadığı görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada şairin, Hz. Mevlâna'ya bağlılığı ve ona olan hayranlığını dile getirdiği yazı ve şiirlerin bir araya getirilmesi, hayatı ve eserleri ile ilgili yapılanlara katkı sağlanması ve bunların edebiyat âlemine kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada Hasan Rüştü'nün, harf inkılabından önce farklı dergi ve gazetelerde Arap harfli olarak çıkmış Mesnevî beyitlerinin tercümelerine, Hz. Mevlâna'nın bir gazelinin tahmisine, ona atfedilen şiirlerin tahmisine, "Külâh-ı Mevlevî" redifli bir manzumeye ve Konya Müzesi ile ilgili kaleme alınan üç sayılık makaleye yer verilmiştir. Bu yazı ve şiirlerden özellikle Mesnevî vezniyle kaleme alınan ilk on sekiz beyit tercümesinin ilim âlemine kazandırılması önem arz etmektedir. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
