- Abstract: Our space has been invaded by the joy and fears associated with the discoveries made in the field of new technologies. History confirms that technological progress has led to the prosperity of the human species and the spiritual evolution of individuals. If regarding the invention of the steam engine and the radio, humanity had the necessary time t o slowly assimilate the new discoveries, in case of Internet and artificial intelligence time is compressed and individuals assimilate the effects of new technologies at a rapid pace, and just like a person who swallows long and suddenly, they feel suffocated by the effects of new discoveries without being convinced that the future is not out of control. In such situations, human rights come back into focus because their reconfirmation generates a sense of security for individuals. The reconfirmation of the basic values of humanity and their reinterpretation in the new social context represents a guarantee of respect for individual rights and freedoms. The present article focuses on this set of values, estimates how human rights will manifest themselves during the third millennium, emphasis the risks that society is not ready to manage the accelerated transformation but also highlights the advantages that the new technologies bring in the evolution of the human species.
