    • Abstract:
The article discusses the book "CETA Investment Law: Article-by-Article Commentary," edited by Marc Bungenberg and August Reinisch. The book analyzes the investment protection provisions of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), which have not yet come into force due to delays in ratification by all EU Member States. Despite this delay, the book provides valuable analysis of substantive and procedural issues in international investment law, and its influence can be seen in other international investment agreements. The book also explores the impetus for the current upheaval in the investment arbitration system and the innovative dispute resolution mechanisms introduced in CETA. [Extracted from the article]
