Daimler Buses and battery systems expert BMZ Poland have formed a strategic partnership to develop and supply the next generation of e-bus batteries. The new battery generation, called NMC4, will have a longer range and an ultra-long cycle life. Daimler Buses customers will benefit from these batteries starting in the middle of the decade. This collaboration is seen as an important step towards zero-emission public transport in Europe.
