      The article presents a comparative study on the media coverage of the European Parliament specifically in France, Italy, Great Britain, and West Germany. Media coverage is being analyzed because it is a significant indicator of the level of integration. The media is composed of television, radio and the press. The four countries showed few problems in television and radio despite having three national television and radio stations except Great Britain with four radio stations. Television coverage is measured through the number of minutes given to the European Parliament per month.
