      The article presents a study on designing and operating a retrieval system for biological literature and information. It states that setting up an information retrieval systems involves two basic elements, which include bibliographic control of literature and designing and operating the system so that the information that goes into it can be gotten back out again. It discusses a procedure for processing entomological literature for storage and retrieval providing better access to the published information.
