      The article focuses on a study by the Functional Genomics team at the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which examines gene expression from exon arrays. The team uses the Affymetrix GeneChip® system, which offers hGU133 plus 2.0 array and the human Exon 1.0 ST array, in performing the gene expression research. The finding of the study reveals that exon chips are more sensitive to differential expression (DE).
