    • Abstract:
The article reports on the findings of neuroscientists at the University of California in Irvine, California that retinas in mice genetically changed to have Alzheimer's disease undergo changes the same to those in the brain. The neuroscientist also found that when Alzheimer's therapies are tested in such mice, retinal changes predict how treatment will work in humans. It mentions that the findings are key to develop retinal imaging technology that diagnose and treat people with Alzheimer's.
