      The article presents the author's views on the philanthropical activities undertaken by the business enterprises in San Diego, California. She states that corporate philanthropy is a sign of a good corporate citizenship. She thinks that a large amount of fund is needed to stabilize the nonprofits organizations. She also suggests several ways to encourage philanthropy including how to engage in a corporate giving program and to take the help of the non profit San Diego Grantmakers.
