The article reports on the recent issue facing the U.S. railroad industry. Due to the proposed new fast trains, railroad lines are recently lacking of passengers, losing money on the business. Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Co.'s Florida Special, the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., Chesapeake and Ohio-Baltimore and Ohio trains have launched several promotions to attract passengers. Furthermore, the Burlington Zephyrs dealt with Hertz Corp. to promote Colorado skiing.
