      The author reflects on the use of statistical analysis to the evidence-based practice, particularly in oncology nursing. He elaborates on the reason why a certain statistical test was used and tried to put the findings in context after picking up one research article from an issue of Oncology Nursing Forum (ONF). He also investigates that nursing depends on evidence to guide practice, but it does not mean the conclusions in a published report containing statistics are statistically sound.
