    • Abstract:
The author calls on U.S. parishes to hail the achievements of ordinary parishioners rather than the priests and deacons alone. One of them are choir members who only get applauded at least once a month. He adds that one way to do that is listing everyone on the staff in the parish bulletin. He also questions the rationale of praying for the pope, the bishop, pastors, and all ministers every week when those who are losing their business or jobs and caring for sick love ones do not get attention.
