      The article discusses Polish-German cultural relations and cultural exchange between 1990 and 2010. Focus is given to treaties signed by both countries that have fostered cultural cooperation, including the 1991 Treaty on Good Neighbourship and Friendly Cooperation. The author notes difficulties in promoting Polish culture in Germany due to the German media's negative portrayals of Polish people. Also discussed are partnerships between German and Polish schools, German institutions that promote Polish culture, and cross-cultural events, such as the Polish/German Year of 2005/2006.
