    • Abstract:
The article discusses the thoughts of sociologist Lewis Feuer on the concept of Marxism. The ideology of Marxism started in the life of Feuer during his youth in the 1930s until his writing career from the 1950s to 1980s. The mature writings of Feuer as a scholar about Marxism started during the 1950s. His notable works in the 1960s include "The Conflict of Generations: The Character and Significance of Student Movements" and "Marx and the Intellectuals: A Set of Post-Ideological Essays." Information on the two ironies of Feuer's works, his role in the end of ideology debate, and his rejection to discuss with the critical theorists is provided.
