      The author reflects on Film Comments Selects, an annual movie festival sponsored by The Film Society of Lincoln Center. Held every February at the Walter Reade Theatre in New York City, the festival presents the movies that were supported by the filmcomment magazine. The festival also holds previews of forthcoming movies, valuable finds from film history, and special events throughout the year. Programming of shows are deliberated on a manner similar to editorial writing which includes discussions, reflection and inspiration.
