      The article presents information about the campus of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California, the winner of the 2006 Interiors Award for educational institutions' design, given by the journal "Contract." An aquatic theme is indeed an integral part of the design scheme devised by Clive Wilkinson Architects for the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. When the institute sought to create new design studios for its downtown Los Angeles campus, Clive Wilkinson Architects was the logical choice.
