    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the relevance of nipple-aspirate fluid (NAF) cytology in the screening of breast-cancer in the U.S. Multiple long-term studies are believed to have pertinently evidenced that atypical epithelial cells in cytology specimens, including NAF and fine-needle aspiration (FNA), can potentially contribute to the risk of developing breast cancer. The traditional preventive approaches, on the other hand, are believed not truly effective in assessing breast-cancer risk.
