    • Abstract:
This article focuses on the literary works of Paul Goodman. Long before Goodman became a public figure on the cultural and political landscape, he had already published several books of poetry, fiction and essays. Among his other novels are The Grand Piano and Making Do. He was also a writer of short stories, including Iddings Clark and The Wandering Boys. His poetry, collected in The Lordly Hudson: Collected Poems, has admirers, too. His passion in writing ranged from social criticism as evident of his many works such as Growing Up Absurd and psychotherapy with the Gestalt Therapy.
