      The article presents the third part of a series of the novel "Devil on His Trail," by John and Ward Hawkins, which is about a young man named Joe Bixby, who is a survivor from a ship attack during the war. It relates the inner battle of Bixby with the hardships of life he is experiencing, being a wanderer. Bixby together with his girlfriend Mary Kilpatrick and colleagues face a tragedy of the war, wandering in the sea through their lifeboat.
