    • Abstract:
This article reports that many of the best stem-cell scientists are moving to China to perform their work. Restrictive policies and a cold cultural climate in the U.S. have helped China recruit top American scientists who are welcomed and given money and state-of-the-art facilities to perform their research. China sees opportunity in stem-cell research and harbors none of the unease felt in the U.S. about the research. China does have some restrictions on working with embryotic stem cells which are to protect the women donating their eggs.
