    • Abstract:
FEATURES: RUNNER'S WORLD+ In 2019, Edmonson ran 20 races, including four half marathons. She'd run multiple half marathons without preparation, but a marathon was going to be a whole new beast. In November 2019, she ran the Richmond Marathon "as a sort of warmup", she says, for the January 2020 Dopey Challenge in Orlando - a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon over four days. In college, Jo competed in 5,000-meter races, but in her 30s, those became half marathons, then marathons, then beyond. [Extracted from the article]
