The author discusses the performances of the opera "Brundibar" at the Terezin concentration camp in what is now the Czech Republic. He mentions the composition of the opera by Hans Krása, the children in Terezin who performed the opera for Danish Red Cross visitors, and what happened after the Red Cross visitors left.
