      The article presents the author's views on the poems written by poet Wallace Stevens. It presents various characteristics of the nature of poems written by Stevens including violence, elitism and arrogance. It further presents a verbal picture of Connecticut which was depicted by Stevens. The author further presents his views on the documentary role of literature which has shifted from fiction to nonfiction.
