- Abstract: The article explores home archives in Black communities through a case study of an atypical collection across two generations. Topics discussed include the trauma that often triggers the emergence of hoarding behaviors, Black women's efforts to document the present and prevent an erasure of the past, and nuanced ways that some hoarders create archives within their homes.
