    • Abstract:
The article offers a look at bilingualism. Bilinguals may speak two languages, but it does not necessarily mean that they can also read or write it. According to Francois Grosjean, author of the research-based book "Bilingual Life and Reality," the thoughts of bilingual people may not be in particular language since thought can be visual-spatial and non-linguistic. As young as four months, infants who live in bilingual environments have the ability to differentiate two languages by monitoring lip and facial movements.
