Birding at Bees Ferry with Audubon South Carolina

CCPL's Zoom server - Join Audubon South Carolina's Jen Tyrrell and the Bees Ferry West Ashley Library staff for a virtual Introduction to Birding! This virtual class is for anyone interested in learning more about how to start birding, including what guides to use, binoculars, smartphone apps, and basic bird ID skills. We'll also learn why birding is not only fun and relaxing - it's important, and birds need our help. After the course we will virtually go birding using the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Bird Feeder Cam to practice our newly acquired skills! The Bees Ferry west Ashley Branch Library will be releasing their new "Birding at Bees" kits available for in branch check out, so you can give your new birding skills a try in person at the beautiful new location.
