Melanie D. Collins is a human resource professional with over 15 years of experience. She is currently employed as the Director of Human Resources for Palmetto Community Action Partnership, a non-profit organization that partners with Lowcountry residents to create customized solutions to rid situational and generational poverty from their lives.
Melanie obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Voorhees College and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development from Webster University. She also holds a SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Melanie is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Melanie resides in North Charleston where she enjoys working in the community and spending time with her family and friends. Melanie joined the Board of Trustees in January 2018.
