      The article presents information on education reform in Australia. The author discusses the roles of former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, the Labor Government, and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education Julia Gillard in proposing elements of education reform. Other topics include the Digital Education Revolution (DER), the Building the Education Revolution (BER), and the responsibilities of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL). The author's experience leading a review of teacher education at the Queensland College of Teachers in Queensland, Australia is also presented. The author suggests several areas of teacher education that should be changed including the model of induction and the partnerships between universities and schools.
