Grace L. Riley, JD, Charleston native, currently serves as Housing Development Officer for the City of Charleston. With a strong foundation in legal advocacy and social services, Ms. Riley brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work, shaped by years of experience supporting families, advancing housing initiatives, and championing equitable community development.

Ms. Riley holds a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Criminology Concentration from Winthrop University. Her professional background spans a range of impactful roles, including Family Advocate at the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, Family Navigator at Trident United Way (both at the state and national level), Paralegal at Frazier Law Offices, and Law Clerk for the Charleston County Probate Court. 

Ms. Riley is an active member of several advocacy and professional organizations, including the Carolina Alliance for Fair Employment, the American Civil Liberties Union, the American Bar Association (Junior Affiliate), and YWCA Greater Charleston. During her free time, Grace enjoys traveling, reading leisurely, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Grace was appointed to the CCPL Board of Trustees in December 2025.
