CHARLESTON, S.C. - Help set a world record for the number of people reading or listening to the same book on one day. Join us at any of our locations on Thursday, Nov. 7 to participate in Jumpstart's Read for the Record. From storytimes to after school readings, or anytime in between, stop by to share this year's selection, "Thank You, Omu" by Oge Mora.

It's a book about about sharing good food and kindness with your community. When the aroma of Omu's homemade stew fills the air, her neighbors arrive, one by one, for a taste until all is gone except for her generous spirit.

Take a look at our storytimes. They are listed below by time. Then pick a branch (or branches and read the story more than once!) that works with your schedule and join us for a a record-setting fun day!
