Join us for Library Day at Patriots Point on Saturday, September 24, 2022! It's a community event in partnership with the Charleston County Public Library and Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Musuem celebrating history and reading.  Event festivities are from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and will include storytimes, hands-on history, and giveaways! Visit the theater on the USS Yorktown for storytimes and special programming during the event. 

Patriots Point is a sponsor of the Summer Reading Program and 30-hour summer reading prize winners get in FREE! Bring your prize voucher to Patriots Point on Library Day and receive free admission.  This event is also open to all visitors who purchase a general admission ticket to the museum so come and join in on the fun! Participants will be able to explore the USS Yorktown, USS Laffey, Medal of Honor Museum, and Vietnam Experience from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy food trucks and explore CCPL’s mobile library where you can sign-up for a library card and check out collection items.

Need transportation? Select CARTA bus rides (Bus 40 and 41) are FREE. Show your LIbrary Day ticket voucher to your bus driver to waive the cost of your fare.
