CHARLESTON, S.C. - The COVID pandemic has altered nearly every aspect of our lives. The way we interact, work, and plan for the future have been changed and it is evident that in order to succeed, we must adapt. The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce is taking steps to accommodate the needs of job seekers while observing safe social distance protocols. A free, Virtual Job Fair will take place over the course of several days via Zoom. Each day, the Chamber of Commerce will introduce the employers which will be presenting that day, followed by presentations from each workplace.  Additionally, viewers may communicate with employers live via chat or direct message and even immediately apply. Companies from an array of organizations will present.

Job opportunities include: crane operators, welders, electricians, carpenters, machinist, sales and merchandisers and warehouse.

August 25, 2020

Job opportunities will include: include inside and outside sales, payroll, communications, HR, account managers, manufacturing and IT.

September 1, 2020

Job opportunities will include: mechanic, service technicians, dock workers and drivers.
