If you've enjoyed a library program in the past, there's a good chance it's thanks to the efforts of the Charleston Friends of the Library!

The Charleston Friends of the Library is a volunteer-run nonprofit and one of CCPL's biggest advocates. Money raised at Friends events supports programs like STEM activities for kids, computer classes, author talks, guest lectures, and more! Book sales are one of the core fundraising efforts for the Charleston Friends of the Library. Materials available at the book sales are donated by the community and sold at bargain prices.

The next Pop-Up Book Sale is taking place on Saturday, November 14 from 9 AM- 4:30 PM at the Bees Ferry West Ashley Library. This is also a great opportunity to visit the Charleston County Public Library's newest branch located at 3035 Sanders Road. The first hour and a half of this book sale will be dedicated senior shopping for those age 65+.

Want a chance to shop early? Join the Friends of the Library for members-only access to the sale.
