General Summary:
Under the general direction of the Systems Manager, the Systems Coordinator for Circulation serves as the point of contact for Circulation Services for all 20 CCPL locations. In addition to coordinating general circulation services, this position provides support for AMHs, IMMS, inventory management wands, contracts, point of sale and shelf space management. This position is also responsible for developing and communicating policy, procedures, and implementation needs that impact both back of house and front of house staff.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate systemwide technical Circulation Services such as Intelligent Material Management System (IMMS), AMH, self-check, RFID, and inventory management wands, point of sale and shelf space management.
Serve as point of contact for accounts/contracts, scheduled maintenance, and on-demand problem solving.
Develop and maintain systemwide Circulation Services, procedures and training in coordination with Systems Manager and branch staff
Collect and report circulation statistics.
Dedicated time at welcome desks for circulation work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess exceptional knowledge and competency of modern principles and practices in Circulation Services.
Ability to use tact, courtesy and good judgement when communicating with coworkers and the public.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of print and electronic library materials.
Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas both orally and in writing.
Ability to carry out assignments both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to coordinate across departments with staff of varying levels of technical expertise.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Progressive employment in library Circulation Services or related library or information science field.
2 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in library or information science field.
Degree – MLIS preferred, but not required; combination of education and experience will be considered.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and possess the ability to learn and implement emerging technical advances.
Ability to travel frequently to CCPL branches as required.

$60,840.00 - $68,515.20 annually commensurate with education and experience.
