Rob’s past professional experience includes 25+ years’ as an entrepreneur focused on the marketing communications and business services sectors. After nearly 30 years in Atlanta, Rob, his wife Karen and their two boxers sought a life closer to the coast on Sullivan’s Island.
Rob is member of the Rotary Club of Charleston, serving as Public Relations co-chair, and strives to make an impact by staying involved in and supportive of organizations that speak to the greatest need in our community – education and conservation-minded advocacy groups, legal aid and continuing education services serving the disadvantaged and underprivileged; and various animal and pet rescue organizations.
Rob contributes his spare time and talents to assist the founders of such community-based 501-C3’s like the Turning Leaf Project, Fresh Future Farms, Ideas into Action/Charleston, Impact-360 Summer Success and Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services. He also volunteers with Charleston League of Women Voters, the Charleston Animal Society, and Junior Girls Day Out. Each of these groups work to engage with local communities and improve the lives of Charleston-area families. He is also an avid photographer, passionate about nature and landscape, wildlife and architectural subjects.
